Invicta Wealth Solutions took part in Male Uprising Guernsey (MUG) Bermuda Shorts Week. The annual event saw employees wearing Bermuda Shorts and fundraising for their latest fundraising campaign.
MUG raises awareness of male cancers such as prostate, bowel and testicular. The charity has set itself a £10,000 fundraising target will be used to buy sun cream and provide sun sense and skin cancer education in Guernsey schools.
MUG council member Mike Richards said: 'Not only is it a fun and visual way for the community to show their support, but it also raises invaluable funds and awareness for what we do. As charities continue to experience the impact of the pandemic, we are incredibly thankful to Butterfield for its continued support and the anticipated support from the Guernsey community as a whole – protecting the children of the Bailiwick is important to us all.’
Invicta Wealth Solutions CEO, Jim Elliott said: ‘We’re delighted to have supported Bermuda Shorts Week, and played our part in raising awareness of male cancers whilst fundraising to enable all schoolchildren access to sun protection.
